in addition to being involved in the strategy, design, leadership, and implementation of NightChurch on a broader scale, i've been hard at work banging away on the appy-lappy late into the midnight hours these past few months. click through to these new web-places to learn more and join us in prayer and support for this wonderful new weekly worship service starting in Shelton.
[the first NightChurch is on Sunday night, January 11, 2009.]
behold, my very special creation:

this is the first "real" website i've ever created. i built it in text wrangler, teaching myself HTML and CSS along the way. my good friend, ryan, helped out with the JavaScript and server functionality. i'm really proud of it, and thankful for his help and guidance.
and here's it's beautiful sister-site:

kristi is administrating the content of the NightChurch blog. you can go there to stay up to date on the latest news, videos, stories, and announcements- created by the NightChurch family. you'll be able to get the whole inside scoop at blog.NightChurch.org. subscribe to it here.
you also may be interested in the secret love child of NightChurch.org and blog.NightChurch.org:

this little beauty is optimized for today's world of the mobile browsing: iPhone, Crackberry, Android, etc.
working in this new medium of web-design for a church has been an enjoyable learning experience. it's been a real adventure in reinventing the function of the "church website" into the "church concierge". when properly implemented by capable people, technology can be a wonderful tool to connecting people together. we've still got a long ways to go, but it's been a great start. i hope our web presence leads to people feeling better connected to NightChurch, and in turn, better connected to JESUS.
after all, it's all about Jesus.
