i've got her covered.

today is kristi's birthday. she's been wanting a covered patio for her and the boys to go outside and sit under even when the weather turns sour, so i enlisted the help of her mother-in-law as the bank, her grandpa as my assistance, and i took up the role of chief "try it til it works" builder. we also got the counsel of mr. and mr. parsons. we built it over the course of a little over two days and i'm here to tell you it works and it turned out just as planned. it stands over 10' in the air and covers an area of our deck measuring 14' x 8'. what a fun project. thanks for all the help!
